At HTC Oxford, we were incredibly proud to welcome Jonathon Minoli, Managing Director of Minoli, to our site in Oxford this week, for a presentation of a truly special and quite unique piece of artwork to mark the part HTC DAF have played in Minoli’s remarkable 65-year journey.

The bespoke artwork commissioned by Jonathon, was created by Joe Coade and the team at Road Race Rally, features Minoli’s flagship 26t DAF truck M1 NOL, a vehicle Mark Gibson and the Oxford team were proud to deliver to Minoli’s preferred specifications. Designed with incredible detail, the piece captures the strength and identity of a fleet that’s helped shape Minoli’s growth across generations.
Jonathon Minoli highlighted the importance of the long-standing partnership, commenting:
“The relationship Minoli have with HTC is so very important. The team within HTC look after our extensive DAF fleet, which is simply crucial to the successful delivery service Minoli offer our clients. As a company, we take tremendous pride in the fleet as it is such a visual representation of the ethos of the company. Having the HTC sales and service team recognise this is a fundamental part of our own success.”
Speaking at the recent presentation in Oxford, he added:
“It’s been my absolute pleasure to be here in Oxford today to present Luke and his team with this unique artwork. HTC Group and DAF have been our chosen partners for vehicle supply and servicing for literally decades, and that’s testament to their expertise in specifying our purpose-built trucks and their attentive and agile customer service. We’re delighted to have HTC amongst our most longstanding suppliers.”

It was a privilege for our Managing Director Luke Mason and truck sales executive, Mark Gibson to receive the artwork in person, with the truck – M1 NOL itself on site for the occasion. The moment carried special meaning as Mark has been supporting the Minoli business since1987, selling his first vehicle to Jonathon’s father (Peter Minoli ) nearly four decades ago.
“Our relationship with Minoli is everything a commercial partnership should be,” said Mark Gibson. “Built on trust, consistency, and shared family values. We’re honoured to be part of their story and their continued success.”
Over the decades, HTC Group has worked closely with Minoli to deliver a growing fleet of reliable, high-performance DAF trucks that meet the unique demands of their tile distribution operation. From city-friendly features like lift-and-steer tag axles, to customised load-handling with Moffett forklifts, each vehicle has been tailored for safety, reliability and efficiency.
“Minoli’s all about quality, family values and always pushing forward which really lines up with how we work at HTC” said Luke Mason. “Being given this very unique artwork means a lot. It’s not simply a thoughtful gesture, this demonstrates what can happen when two businesses grow side by side with trust at the heart of it all.”
The piece now holds pride of place at HTC Oxford and we encourage visitors to check it out next time you stop by. Not only is it a fantastic picture of the Minoli truck, it’s a tribute to collaboration, legacy and the kind of customer relationship that defines who we are at HTC.
